What is drone racing?
Drone racing is a sport that is sweeping the globe and capturing the attention of a wide and varied audience. Pilots and spectators alike ranging from 6-70 years old, video gamers to aeronautical engineers.
First Person View
First person view drone racing aka “FPV” is a new virtual reality sport where four to eight pilots race against each other navigating a high-speed racing drone through obstacles trying to be the fastest pilot and avoid crashing.
Real Time Video Signal
The drone has a tiny camera on board that sends a video signal back to the pilot’s virtual reality style goggles in real time. This allows the pilot to see from a bird’s eye perspective what the drone’s camera is seeing, sometimes over half a mile away from where the pilots are seated at speeds reaching 100 mph. At our event the FPV feed from all the drones in a race heat will be projected on a big screen for spectators to watch simultaneously with the pilots creating an extreme experience for all.

XP is the first-ever traveling professional drone racing circuit where spectators can come watch FPV drone racing live in a family-friendly environment.
Public Is Invited To Experience...
This is the public’s first opportunity to experience the adrenaline pumping multi-colored LED course in an awe inspiring, action packed, sensory stimulating environment. Watch drones zip through the colorful gates, a dazzling display of speed, accuracy and fantasy. There will be a 60" LED display behind each individual pilot station displaying each pilots first person view (FPV) feed invoking a more intimate experience. The best view in the house to catch all the camera-crushing crashes and heart-pounding high speed racing action. Spectators can rent goggles and go on a “ride along” seeing the drone in flight from the drone’s perspective in a virtual reality experience. Get hands-on experience flying a drone and participate in fun and games!
Hands-On Tutorials... Fun & Games
Come early Saturday, we will be open at 10am, and try out one of several drone simulators or hands-on tutorials. Visitors that complete a beginner’s hands-on tutorial and learn to fly a real drone will be entered into random drawings where they could win a Fat Shark 101 FPV Kit and be chosen to fly the course and compete against each other in fun and hilarious mini-games designed for novice pilots. During intermission kids are invited up to try and shoot down mini quads that are trying to complete laps with supplied NERF guns in a NURF(R) HUNTERS game. Professional racing starts at 5 P.M. and will go to about 9 P.M.

Speed, Agility, Technology... Cash & Prizes
During the main event race on Saturday night starting at 6 P.M. there will be a live band that plays along with the production and a live DJ playing music in rhythm with the high-speed races. Concessions will be open. Expect a fun filled afternoon and be amazed by the speed, agility, technology and friendly hospitality of America’s drone racing community. Pilots will be competing for smaller cash prizes and an all-expenses paid round trip to Topeka, KS this Halloween to compete for at least a $50,000 prize purse.
